Find Money analyzes consumer spending to give radically insightful recommendations built on the experience of other savvy consumers.
What value do consumers get from Find Money?
There are plenty of apps out there that help consumers set a budget and send alerts go over. But what they don't do is give you actionable advice on how to actually save.
Find Money digs down into each individual's transactions and yielding personalized advice for how to spend money wiser.
Where do FinSights come from?
FinSights don't appear out of thin air. We use a variety of methods to source advice for members. Here are a few:
Find Money uses a mix of machine-learning, aggregation, and human curation to identify better value for the end-user.
FinGoal asks members to share their advice with the community. We review and curate that advice.
Here's an example: We had tons of members in the Denver Area that were paying all sorts of different prices for airport parking when they traveled. We asked someone from our team who travels often for work to try every parking option at the airport and report back on the pros, cons, and pricing. Now, we serve that advice to Denver area members who travel.
Advice, not Ads
Our insights are not ads. We will always serve up the most relevant advice we can find. Marketers can NOT pay us to send you advice when we believe something else will serve you better
How does FinGoal make money
Let's repeat it again for the people in the back: our FinSights are not sponsored promotions. We will always serve up the most relevant personalized advice we can find that will make a meaningful difference to the consumer. FinGoal serves Trusted Financial Brands which pay a license to FinGoal.
We do use several services that automatically upgrade some of the URLs linked in the FinSights to what are called "affiliate links." Many of the companies that FinGoal discovers to be a better deal for the consumer, may be willing to pay us a commission for the recommendation. Whether or not a company pays commissions will never override suggesting a better deal or option to you. The amount of a commission will never override advice that better suits you.
We take this approach for two reasons: 1.) As Financial Institutions and FinTech, your customers trust you. Every partner you consider must be viewed through a lens of whether it adds or detracts from that trusted relationship. 2.) We know that if we didn't give the best advice possible, members would ignore the advice FinGoal would fail. By aligning FinGoal's values with both consumers and our developer partners, FinGoal can be more successful.
Additionally, FinGoal licenses its award-winning FinSightAPI and related services to FinTechs, Banks, and Credit Unions helping them generate revenue through increased deposits, greater cross-sell opportunities, and revenue-split opportunities.
