1.) Can We Trust You?
We value integrity and honesty like crazy. Things change quickly in a financial technology, and we hate extra bureaucracy. When everyone on the team can be counted to do what they say they are going to do, we can avoid a ton of extra layers of management and paperwork. When everyone is comfortable sharing as soon as they are blocked, lost, or expect to miss a deadline, the whole team can quickly come together to adjust.

Some folks refer to this as a "growth mindset." Our view is that every person is imperfect and has room to learn from each other and improve. At FinGoal, we all coach each other to level-up and be better. We expect you to coach and be coached.

Things move fast at FinGoal. You will be surrounded by motivated bright colleagues that know their stuff and give a damn. Every day is different and we all love to wear different hats. Open Positions

Lead Software Engineer.

You'll get to...
  • Build roadmaps for existing integrations as well as new initiatives around our API team
  • Build and lead a team of engineers in support of our mobile platform integration efforts
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple engineering teams
  • Drive product requirements from spec to production
  • Architect and design greenfield systems, new features, monitoring strategies, and deployment solutions using GitHub, Heruku, JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Be familiar with Vue and general Javascript best practices
  • Assess code for best practices
  • Help your team level-up their skill sets
  • Look for new, innovative, and creative solutions to solve problems at scale using both our current technologies as well as new
 

Using your...
  • Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, Vue (or similar eg. Angular or React)
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure) or on-premise virtualization
  • Experience building and deploying APIs, web applications, and libraries
  • Experience leading or co-leading the architecture, design, and implementation of applications with thousands of lines of code
  • Experience mentoring others at work (e.g. via open source contributions, or StackOverflow)
  • Experience conducting 1:1's, consistent experience providing peer review, or being a major code reviewer for a large open-source project
  • Comfortable working closely with product managers to prioritize and coordinate the efforts
  • Experience conducting both in-person and phone technical interviews
  • You get just as excited seeing others grow and learn under your leadership as you do executing the work yourself
  • View ambiguity and high-level specs as an opportunity to be creative
  • Familiarity with basic design patterns and architectural patterns
  • Willingness to travel to assist in driving business initiatives

Field Marketing Manager.
​

Field Marketing Manager works closely with Sales, Partnerships and Marketing to manage corporate and field marketing events that increase sales pipeline and ultimately lead to acquiring new customers and cross-selling/up-selling opportunities.
You'll get to...
  • Plan and execute 10+ corporate events and trade shows per year
  • Plan and execute 5 field marketing regional events per quarter
  • Work with the partnership team to provide support for partner events
  • Serve as fintech industry expert by developing an understanding of common challenges and business concerns
  • Manage key vendor relationships including event management and promotional items
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and the Executive Team to drive successful event strategy, planning and execution, and follow up.
  • Track event marketing KPIs by identifying, tracking, and analyzing key marketing KPIs including marketing attribution to pipeline, revenue, and time to close
  • Evaluate events and incorporate improvement in future planning.
  • Recruit executives and our target audience to attend regional events
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Using your...
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record developing and executing marketing events
  • Data-driven approach to metrics and results
  • 3-5 years of marketing management or related experience
  • Salesforce, Domo, and Hubspot experience. Marketo or similar a plus!
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to exercise judgement within defined procedures and practices
You'll do it by…
  • Helping identify, investigate and validate potential pre-pipe and upsell opportunities
  • Mapping out content strategy to address specific challenges and business concerns
  • Partnering with leadership, 3rd party resources, and sales to establish solid relationships with potential targets
  • Proactively engage with sales and partnerships on a regular basis to plan in-territory marketing campaigns to penetrate and expand business with enterprise and channel accounts
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of field marketing programs and prioritize resources based on opportunity and pipeline data
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing Operations to manage lead flow​
